I blend drone precision with ground-level storytelling to reveal the true scale of India’s historic forts. Every site holds a story, and I am here to document it from the sky and the ground.

Another stunning aerial view of Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan, this angle highlights the winding fortification walls that snake across the green hillsides.

A top-down aerial view of Shaniwar Wada in Pune, showing the historic Maratha fort's foundations and gardens surrounded by the modern city.

About this collection

I don’t just fly a drone for the sake of it. My workflow combines high-altitude aerials with ground-level architectural shots using an iPhone Pro, so you get the massive scale of fortification walls alongside the intricate stone details. Whether it's the winding ramparts of Kumbhalgarh or the hidden courtyards of Pune's Shaniwar Wada, I focus on the contrast between historical architecture and the surrounding landscape.

Beyond the Postcard View

When I approach a heritage site, my goal is to document the 'jugalbandi' or duet between history and the modern world. Most photographers focus on one angle, but I provide a complete asset library.

What my heritage shoots include:

  • Aerial Perspectives: Using DJI drones, I capture top-down and 45-degree angles that reveal the layout, moats, and defense strategies of forts like Mehrangarh or Kumbhalgarh that are impossible to see from the ground.
  • Ground Narrative: I use ground-level videography to capture the texture of stone, the depth of archways, and the life happening within these ancient walls.
  • Storytelling: My deliverables include researched captions and narrative context, making the content ready for tourism promotion or personal archives.

Why I Travel for Heritage

From the UNESCO sites in Maharashtra to the desert forts of Rajasthan, every location requires a different approach. For ancient shrines and palaces, I time my sessions for the Golden Hour or Blue Hour to ensure the stone glows. I specialize in providing raw 4K footage and edited Reels specifically framed for vertical mobile viewing, ensuring the content is ready for social media feeds without the need for additional cropping or editing.
