I pour hours into every graphite stroke, capturing skin textures and those tiny details that make a portrait feel real. Whether it's a gift or a personal tribute, let's turn your memories into art.

My take on a classic portrait of Angelina Jolie. The main goal here was to capture her distinct features and intense gaze using careful shading with graphite pencils to create a soft yet powerful look.

A detailed graphite portrait of Gal Gadot. I spent about 10 hours on this piece, using Staedtler pencils and blending stumps to achieve the smooth skin texture and the intricate details in her hair and clothing.

Another angle of the Gal Gadot portrait, showing the finished work next to my pencils. This view highlights the subtle shading and highlights that bring the drawing to life.

This video shows the result of hours of practice in shading and form. The final piece is a hyper-realistic pencil portrait where I focused on creating soft, smooth skin tones and capturing the emotion in her eyes.

This piece was a fun challenge in texture. I used fine graphite pencils to create the realistic effect of sand on skin, focusing on the contrast between the smooth skin and the grainy texture for a unique and striking portrait.

A time-lapse of a portrait of Lisa from Blackpink. I used a white gel pen to add intricate details to her dress over the graphite base, showing how I combine different tools for a unique effect.

The finished pencil portrait of Lisa, laid out with the tools I used. This black and white drawing focuses on her striking expression and the detailed texture of her hair.

A close-up shot of the Lisa portrait, focusing on her face. This angle shows the delicate shading work around the eyes and nose, which is key to creating a realistic portrait.

My first portrait sketch of 2024, a woman in a hat. I used graphite on ivory paper to create a soft, classic look, focusing on the gentle shadows and the texture of her clothing.

A process video showing how I build up layers in my pencil portraits. Starting with the eyes, I gradually add shading to the face, using a small piece of paper to prevent smudging.

About Hyper-Realistic Pencil Portraits

Creating a portrait isn't just about the outline, it’s about the patience involved in shading and blending. I spend hours on the eyes and skin texture alone, using high-grade Faber-Castell and Staedtler graphite to ensure the depth is just right. Sometimes I will spend 10 hours on a single piece to get that gaze perfect. If you are wondering how it works, I build the drawing up in layers, and keeping the paper clean is half the battle.
