My process is simple. I focus on tough stitching, neat finishing, and a fit that works for your body. Every blouse I make includes padding and pre-shrunk cotton lining to ensure it holds its shape. If you have a specific neck design or embroidery idea in mind, I will sketch it out first to make sure we are on the same page before I start.
I specialize in both simple daily wear and heavy bridal blouses. For heavy work, I use authentic Maggam and Aari embroidery techniques. I work with Zardosi, sugar beads, and Kundan stones to match the pattern of your saree.
Back designs are very important to me. I stitch deep backs, keyholes, and tie-ups with handmade latkans. I pay attention to the small things, like matching the border of your saree on the sleeves. If you have an old silk saree, I can even repurpose the fabric.
I do not just stitch, I construct the blouse. I use canvas pasting on necklines to prevent sagging and use rust-free hooks and dori piping. Whether you want a princess cut or a katori cut, I tailor it to your measurements. Just bring your fabric and your vision, and I will handle the rest.
