Custom Blouse Designs and Tailoring Services
Get your blouses custom-stitched to your exact measurements. I specialize in everything from simple daily-wear patterns to heavy bridal Maggam embroidery, right here in Bangalore.
This custom-stitched blouse shows a unique cutout back design with elegant tie-ups and pom-poms. The gold zari border adds a traditional touch, and I ensure the fit is flawless for a comfortable and stylish look.
An example of detailed hand embroidery, this blouse features a vibrant peacock motif on the sleeves. This kind of custom artwork is perfect for clients who want a truly one-of-a-kind piece for their wedding or festive saree.
I enjoy working with different fabrics and textures, like this maroon velvet blouse. The design features a beautiful lattice pattern created with beading, adding a touch of modern elegance to a classic puff-sleeve silhouette.
This bright blue silk blouse was designed with a deep, rounded back neckline, highlighted by a delicate border of gold beadwork. It’s a simple yet elegant design that can be customized for any saree.
Here is another custom blouse design for a silk saree. The focus is on the sleeve work, with multiple bands of gold zari and green threadwork creating a stacked, bracelet-like effect that elevates the entire look.
This bridal blouse combines multiple embroidery techniques, including threadwork, zari, and stone embellishments around the neckline. The intricate pattern and vibrant colors make it a standout piece for any wedding ceremony.
About Custom Blouse Designs
When you bring your fabric to my studio, I focus on the structure first. I use double-lining techniques and quality canvas fusing to ensure your blouse fits perfectly and holds its shape, even with heavy bridal handwork.
How I Handle Your Blouse Stitching
I treat every blouse as a project. Whether you have a specific design saved from Instagram or a silk saree that needs a classic blouse, I provide the structure and finishing that makes the difference between a good fit and a perfect one.
Embroidery & Design
My team specializes in authentic Aari (Maggam) hand embroidery. We use zari thread, sugar beads, stone chains, and Kundan stones to create intricate borders and sleeve motifs. If you want a specific neckline, whether it is a deep back, boat neck, or V-neck, I ensure it is cut accurately and reinforced with Dori or invisible zippers.
The Process
- Consultation: You bring the fabric and the design idea. We discuss the neckline, sleeve length, and level of embroidery needed.
- Measurement: I take measurements in person at my Doddagubbi studio to ensure the fit is precise.
- Construction: For heavy bridal blouses, I use double-lining to support the weight of the handwork. For standard blouses, I use color-matched cotton or crepe lining with built-in padding.
- Trial: We do a trial session to handle any final fit rectifications.
Timelines
Simple blouses can be completed quickly, but for heavy bridal handwork, I need 10 to 15 days to ensure the quality of the embroidery and the finishing details are perfect. I also offer alterations if you have an existing blouse that just needs a better fit.
