About this collection
When designing traditional wear for kids, my priority is making sure they can actually play and move without fuss. Every lehenga, gharara, and kurta set I craft includes a full, butter-soft cotton lining to prevent irritation against the skin, and I always incorporate generous inner margins so the outfit grows a bit with your child.
Comfort-First Festive Wear
Traditional clothing for children often prioritizes look over feel, but I believe they should be able to enjoy the festivities without complaining about itchy fabrics or tight seams. My studio in Hauz Khas focuses on blending rich Indian textiles—like Banarasi silk, Mul Mul, and brocade—with practical construction. We use full cotton linings on all festive sets, whether it is a lehenga, gharara, or a kurta set, to ensure the garment is gentle on your child's sensitive skin.
Customization for Every Occasion
Every piece is a collaboration. You bring the idea, and we make it fit your child perfectly. Whether you need a specific color palette for a wedding, a themed outfit for a family puja, or a mini version of your own ethnic wear, I work with you to finalize details like embroidery and fit. We offer specialized handwork, including leather embroidery, dabka, and gota patti, all finished to withstand the energy of a running toddler or a playful kid.
Practical Design Details
- Growth Margins: All outfits are constructed with 1-1.5 inch inner margins, allowing the garment to be adjusted as your child grows.
- Kid-Friendly Finishes: We use overlocked edges and French seams to ensure durability during rough play.
- Complete Sets: Most of our ethnic sets include a lightweight dupatta or matching accessories to complete the look without weighing them down.
If you have a vision for a traditional outfit, let's connect and start the process. From fabric selection to the final stitch, we ensure the process is simple and the result is a one-of-a-kind piece your child will love wearing.
