Customised Hobbies & Profession Cakes

When you approach me with a hobby or a profession as a theme, I do not look at it as just another order. It is a puzzle. If you are a DJ, we discuss the console layout, the lighting, and the miniature headphones. If you are an RBI official, we map out the chess pieces and currency elements to sit perfectly on the board. This is about capturing the essence of what you do or what you love most.

I use premium fondant and edible paints to create these 3D sculpted elements. Because I hand-sculpt everything—from the individual vegetables in a kitchen scene to the fabric folds on a figurine's saree—these cakes take time. I avoid using pre-made toppers because they lack the personality and the soul of the person I am making the cake for.

I often get asked if these cakes are just for show. My answer is always that taste is non-negotiable. I use sturdy, high-quality sponges like chocolate mud or rich vanilla for these structural designs, ensuring that the cake holds its shape during the celebration but still melts in your mouth when you slice it. Whether it is for a surprise birthday, a promotion, or a retirement party, my goal is to make the guest of honor say, 'Wow, this is actually me in cake form.'
