For Diwali, I offer luxurious corporate gifting solutions that feel personal and look exquisite. These ornate golden filigree boxes contain premium chocolate bars, making for an elegant and memorable gift for clients and employees.

Rakhi is a special celebration of the bond between siblings. This adorable hamper for a sister includes a cute pink teddy bear cakesicle and Oreo-filled chocolates that spell out "SIS," all beautifully presented in a festive box.

For timeless romance, I craft elegant wedding cakes like this three-tiered beauty. The clean white fondant serves as a perfect canvas for a cascade of handcrafted sugar flowers in soft, romantic hues, finished with a personalized monogram.

Kids' birthdays should be full of wonder. I specialize in creating vibrant, whimsical worlds, like this jungle-themed cake, featuring adorable, hand-sculpted fondant animals that bring a child's imagination to life.

I believe dessert making is an art form. This image captures the final touch on a fresh strawberry cake, dusting it with powdered sugar to create a simple yet elegant finish. It’s a perfect example of how I turn fresh, seasonal ingredients into a beautiful dessert.

My custom cupcakes are tiny canvases for edible art. This set was designed for a fellow baker, featuring incredibly detailed, handmade fondant toppers that represent the tools of our trade, from a miniature pie and macarons to a tiny scale and rolling pin.

My Story

Anuya Apte is behind Out of the Box Cakes in Borivali West. On the phone, Anuya is brief and to the point. Handmade work matters to us. "When you buy HANDMADE… You support a DREAM…" is how she puts it. Kind words from clients get a warm thank-you, "Love you loads". She calls that feeling a "little celebratory groove".

My Work

Cakes, hampers and tablescapes - We make custom celebration cakes and personalised gift boxes. We do grazing-table decor, not grazing food.

Personal stories - We bring sarees, hobbies, professions and family milestones into cake designs.

Sculpted and moving cakes - Our work includes an Omega watch cake, a suspended chandelier display and rotating football designs.

Small treats - We personalise cupcakes and cakesicles, with brownies, macarons and festive bakes alongside them.
