About The Vibe: Crowd & Energy
When I am on the decks, I am reading the room in real-time, not just cycling through a pre-planned playlist. It is about the moment where the bass drops and the entire dance floor clicks into sync. If you are looking for a DJ who actively feeds off the crowd to push the night further, this is how I operate.
My philosophy is simple: no boundaries. Whether I am playing a peak-time techno set or a deep, melodic house session, the goal remains the same. I want to build a journey that keeps the room locked in.
The Techno & Melodic Experience
For club nights and festival stages, I lean into driving, peak-time techno. These sets require a sound system with real power, specifically subwoofers that can handle low-end frequencies. I often incorporate my own productions, such as 'Follow the Light', to ensure the sonic signature is distinct to my style.
Sundowners & Afro House
For beach parties or cocktail hours, the vibe shifts. I focus on Afro House and organic rhythms that keep the energy high but the atmosphere conversation-friendly. This is where I blend tracks to match the ocean breeze or the open sky.
Technical Expectations
I arrive with my headphones and Rekordbox-formatted USBs. For a standard show, I rely on a setup of 2x Pioneer CDJs (2000 NXS2 or 3000) and a Pioneer DJM 900 NXS2 Mixer. For headline techno sets, I prefer 3x linkable CDJs for live remixing capabilities. I do not play Bollywood or commercial pop, so please ensure this aligns with your venue music policy before booking.
