About Our Story: A Legacy of Food
Most catering leaves you with a mountain of dishes to wash, but that is exactly what I built my business to avoid. Every meal we deliver arrives in our signature red box that unfolds into a mini buffet stand, so your dining table stays clean and you get to actually enjoy your party instead of managing the cleanup.
My journey with food started long before I stepped into a kitchen. My grandfather co-founded The Embassy in 1948, a legendary spot that hosted everyone from Bollywood stars to politicians. Growing up hearing these stories, I learned that food is about connection, not just consumption.
After training in Switzerland and working at ITC Maurya, I realized that while people love hosting, they hate the work that comes with it. The kitchen is usually where the host spends their whole evening. I wanted to change that. Whether you are hosting a small IPL screening or a festive dinner, you should feel like a guest at your own event.
That is why I created The House Party and now Num Yum. We don't just deliver food; we deliver a system. By combining my family’s traditional recipes with a patented, no-mess packaging design, I’ve bridged the gap between fine dining and home comfort. From our Shark Tank experience to the thousands of platters we’ve delivered, the goal remains the same: real, fresh, gourmet catering without the stress of cleanup. We handle the food, the setup, and the service, so you can focus on the people across the table.
