I see a portrait as an honest story, not just a pretty photo. Every click is about capturing emotion and personality, not just looking good. I like finding the real you and making something classic that lasts.
My Style
I’m all about fine art portrait photography. My approach is pretty old school - I prefer dodging and burning over heavy Photoshop, so the images feel real, not plastic. Black and white portraits are a big part of my work, stripping everything down so only the emotion stays. Storytelling drives every session, whether that’s through dramatic lighting or clever use of props. My ‘Reflections of Life’ series is all about using reflections to add a twist.
Who I Photograph
My sessions cover a lot – from intense solo portraits, especially of women, to couples and families, always trying to catch the real bond. I also love working with artists, entrepreneurs, and professionals, creating editorial portrait sessions that show what makes you stand out.

You can step into my Gurgaon studio for total control and creative lighting, or I’ll come to your spot for environmental portraits. Shooting in your space adds another layer to the story, making it personal.

My Story
Photography’s always been in my blood. Back in the day, 1995 I think, I grabbed new strobe lights and roped in my dad (Raghu Rai, yeah, that Raghu Rai) and my little sister for a portrait. I just chase moments as they come—sometimes it’s spiritual leaders, sometimes legends like Jatin Das sketching me while I shoot him. My ‘Reflections of Life’ series? Pure, raw images, no digital fuss. I’m all about light, shadow, and real stories.
