Professional and Editorial Portraits
I craft editorial portraits that capture your authentic personality, moving beyond generic headshots to create a compelling visual narrative for your professional brand.
The final published cover of SUNDAY magazine from July 1993, featuring my portrait of Dr. Manmohan Singh. This demonstrates my experience delivering high-impact images for major publications.
A portrait of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living, photographed in 2001. The image captures his serene presence and engaging personality through careful lighting and composition.
A modern and confident studio portrait of entrepreneur Neha Sinha. This type of professional headshot is designed to convey competence and approachability for use on websites, LinkedIn, and other corporate materials.
A classic black and white glamour portrait, highlighting fine jewelry and a captivating expression. This style is perfect for models, actors, and professionals in the beauty and fashion industries seeking a sophisticated portfolio piece.
About Professional & Editorial Portraits
I focus on classical techniques rather than heavy digital editing. By using traditional darkroom methods like dodging and burning, I sculpt the light and shadow on your portrait, creating a visual depth that simple filters cannot replicate. This results in a final image that feels grounded, professional, and timeless.
Whether you need an editorial portrait for a magazine feature, a professional headshot for your website, or a creative session to define your personal brand, my goal is to capture the person behind the professional.
My Professional Portfolio Experience involves a 6-hour creative session, allowing us time to experiment with up to 4 distinct looks. We focus on posing, expressions, and advanced lighting setups that are suitable for casting calls or high-end business branding. You are not just getting a photo; you are getting a structured visual asset.
If you are looking for something more intimate, my signature individual sessions are 90-minute studio experiences in Palam Vihar, Gurgaon. We work through 2 wardrobe changes, focusing on dramatic shadows and clear, honest expressions. I do not use mass-production workflows. Every image is manually processed to maintain integrity, which is why I enforce strict copyright policies on all my work. If you are a professional, entrepreneur, or artist seeking to present yourself with authority, my studio is open to you.
