Architectural & Interior Photography
Scope of Work
- Duration: Single day shoot (approx. 8 to 9 hours) on location in Delhi NCR.
- Execution: Personally shot by Nitin Rai using professional full-frame cameras and Tilt-Shift lenses essential for architecture.
- Subjects: Luxury residential exteriors, interior design layouts, hotel lobbies, heritage facades, or commercial retail spaces.
- Technique: Usage of purist techniques including natural lighting, tripod-mounted long exposures, and twilight photography.
Deliverables & Editing
- Quantity: 20 to 25 final selected hero images.
- Editing Style: Signature darkroom style processing including color correction, dodging, burning, and perspective correction.
- Format: High-resolution JPEGs (300 DPI) for print and web-optimized versions.
- Exclusions: No heavy photo manipulation (removing power lines or changing sky colors) or 3D rendering looks.
Usage & Logistics
- Licensing: Standard commercial usage rights included for 2 years (Digital + Print). Copyright remains with the photographer.
- Travel: Included for Gurgaon and South Delhi locations.
Industrial & Factory Documentation
Scope of Work
- Duration: Full day shoot (up to 10 hours) at a factory or plant location.
- Subjects: Large-scale infrastructure, highly reflective machinery, control rooms, and shop floors.
- People Coverage: Candid shots of workforce in their element and staged portraits of key personnel.
- Style: Creative industrial approach utilizing long exposure light trails and dramatic silhouettes.
Deliverables
- Quantity: 30 to 40 final edited images.
- Processing: Vivid color grading designed to pop against industrial greys with emphasis on clarity and safety gear visibility.
- Usage: Images cleared for Annual Reports, CSR Books, Corporate Calendars, and Website use.
Logistics
- Safety: Photographer adheres to site safety protocols and brings own PPE if required.
- Recce: Includes a virtual or physical walkthrough prior to shoot day to identify key spots.
Creative Brand Campaign & Fashion
Scope of Work
- Type: Creative Campaign or Editorial Lookbook for fashion, jewelry, or luxury perfumes.
- Direction: Nitin Rai acts as Creative Director and Photographer, directing mood, lighting, and posing.
- Lighting: Complex setups (studio or location) designed to highlight specific textures like silk, leather, or glass.
Crew & Equipment
- Included: Lead Photographer, 1 Light Assistant, 1 Digital Tech, Professional Lighting Kit, and tethering setup.
- Excluded: Models, Makeup Artist (MUA), Stylist, and Location rental fees are not included and must be arranged by the client.
Deliverables & Usage
- Output: 8 to 10 looks or concepts resulting in approximately 30 final high-end images.
- Retouching: Includes skin retouching, product cleaning, and color grading.
- Rights: Advertising rights for Social Media, Lookbooks, and OOH (Out of Home) marketing for 1 year.
About Commercial & Corporate Photography
My Take on Commercial & Corporate Photography
I treat every assignment like a visual story. Whether it's a brand campaign or architectural shoot, I want the photos to have soul, not just tick boxes. My images are crafted to fit your business needs but still feel like art.
What I Shoot
- Luxury property photography - from high-end homes and hotels to sprawling malls and golf courses. I prefer dramatic twilight shots that make spaces pop, but sometimes, real estate is tricky with weather and lighting. Not every shoot is perfect, but I always try to show the space honestly.
- Interiors - hotels, restaurants, commercial offices. I focus on what makes each space unique, using both wide and close shots, but sometimes interiors fight you with tight spaces or bad light. Still, I work around it.
- Industrial site photo shoot - factories, power plants, machinery, even the people on the job. I use slower shutter speeds and dynamic setups to make industrial work look bold, but I don’t over-edit to keep things real.
- Corporate campaign images - annual reports, CSR, coffee table books, brand lookbooks. I’ve worked with big names, but I also collaborate with stylists and models for product shoots. Not every campaign is a blockbuster, but I give it my best.
My Style
I’m old-school when it comes to editing. No heavy photoshop, just classic photo editing - dodging, burning, and keeping things true to the moment. If you want super glossy, I’m probably not your guy.
How I Work
Based in Gurgaon, but I shoot all over India. For bigger shoots, I pull in my regular team - models, stylists, makeup artists. Everything about image rights and usage is discussed upfront, so there’s no confusion later.

Photography’s always been in my blood. Back in the day, 1995 I think, I grabbed new strobe lights and roped in my dad (Raghu Rai, yeah, that Raghu Rai) and my little sister for a portrait. I just chase moments as they come—sometimes it’s spiritual leaders, sometimes legends like Jatin Das sketching me while I shoot him. My ‘Reflections of Life’ series?
