For me, choreography is a blend of tradition and fresh ideas. This includes developing new movement vocabularies like 'Desi Marga Adavu', deconstructing complex rhythms, and collaborating closely with musicians to create original scores that are the soul of our performances.

As performers, my husband Rajendra and I share a special connection on stage, which we express through our duet choreographies. I also cherish the depth of solo performances, using intricate abhinaya and powerful nritta to explore characters and emotions.
Nurturing the Next Generation: Teaching & Mentorship
Passing on the legacy of dance is a sacred responsibility. I provide close guidance for Arangetram and solo debuts, conduct masterclasses, and foster a community of dedicated dancers in our Abhinava Dance Company, upholding the Guru-Shishya parampara.

We create themed and creative choreographies for a wide range of prestigious events, from corporate conferences like for Bosch to cultural festivals like the Mukteshwar Dance Festival and NCPA Nakshatra. Each performance is tailored to bring energy and artistry to the occasion.
