Energetic Dance Workshops and Professional Choreography by Nidhi
From viral Garba routines to high-energy Bollywood, here is a glimpse of the movement, passion, and community I build in every session.
This is the feeling I want to share with everyone, the pure sukoon and happiness of a perfect Garba twirl. I teach the techniques to help you find your own graceful spin, whether you are a beginner or a pro.
The countdown to Navratri is always an exciting time in my classes. This is a glimpse of one of my group workshops where we learn fun, high-energy routines together. You can feel the excitement building.
Besides Garba, I love adding a little Punjabi tadka to my classes. This high-energy Bhangra routine on 'Laung da Lashkara' is a fantastic workout and always gets everyone's spirits up.
It was an amazing experience to bring dance and happiness to the streets of Mumbai with the 'Happy Streets' initiative. I was so proud to be featured in The Times of India for leading this community event.
Garba is even more fun with a partner. In my workshops, I teach coordinated Dodhiya and other partner routines, breaking down the steps so you and your partner can dance in perfect sync.
I regularly host Garba workshops, especially for trending routines like Dakla. This is a poster from one of my sessions in Thane, which are perfect for anyone wanting a quick 2-hour deep dive into a new choreography.
There is nothing like the energy on the dance floor when a classic Garba song like 'Dakhla' starts playing. This is the authentic, crazy vibe we all live for during Navratri, and I prepare my students for these moments.
I was truly honored and grateful to receive the Choreographer Achievement Award at Choreofeast. This recognition fuels my passion to keep creating and sharing the art of dance with all of you.
Who says Garba is only for traditional music? I love creating fusion choreography, like this routine set to Ed Sheeran's 'Sapphire'. It's a fun way to mix modern beats with classic Garba taali steps.

Whether you are joining me at The Ray Studios in Thane or my home base in Nerul, my approach is the same: I break down complex beats into moves that actually feel good to do. I don't believe in rigid, robotic training. Instead, we focus on Nazaakat (grace) and rhythm, ensuring that by the end of your first session, you are not just memorizing choreography, but truly owning the floor.
Dance is my way of living, not just performing. When I started my journey, I realized that most people are intimidated by the studio environment. My goal is to change that. Whether you are prepping for a Sangeet, learning Garba for the Navratri season, or just want to burn some energy with Bollywood fusion, I prioritize your comfort and confidence above all else.
Why Train With Me?
- Technique Meets Emotion: We focus on the 'why' behind the move. In my Garba workshops, we cover everything from basic 2-Taali rhythms to advanced Dakla spins, ensuring you have the stamina and the technique to last through the entire night.
- Community First: My classes aren't just about repetition. From 'Happy Streets' initiatives to group choreography shoots, we build a community where students become friends.
- Flexible Learning: I operate across Navi Mumbai—including Seawoods, Vashi, Nerul, and CBD Belapur—and Thane West. I offer batches for all levels, from kids to adults, and prioritize a space where you can make mistakes, laugh, and improve.
I have been fortunate to receive recognition like the Choreographer Achievement Award at Choreofeast, but the real reward is seeing the energy shift in the room when the music starts. If you have two left feet or are an experienced dancer looking for a new routine, there is a spot for you here.
