About Behind the Vibe: The Making Of
When we plan a ParaDisco night, nothing is off the shelf. I personally spend weeks sourcing materials, whether it's hunting for the right plush toys to cover the DJ console or spending hours with my crew hand-threading hundreds of Kandi bracelets for the crowd. It’s these small, tactile details that turn a standard club night into an immersive experience where people actually feel connected, not just standing around.
Most people focus on the DJ set, but for me, the sonic experience is only half the story. The rest is in the physical space. I don't just walk into a venue and set up gear; I transform the environment into a place where people can lose their inhibitions. Whether we are hanging 10+ mirror balls from the ceiling or building a tunnel of chrome balloons for an entrance, every visual choice is a deliberate layer in the larger ParaDisco narrative.
I’m a big believer in co-creation. My setup involves a whole team, from drag artists who bring the energy on the floor to the visual artists managing the LED loops. When you book a package, you aren't just getting a headline set; you’re getting the full production. We manage the sound checks, the stage flow, and the technical riders so you don't have to stress about the logistics.
I’ve learned that the most authentic moments happen when the decor invites interaction. Giving out handmade bracelets or having soft toy installations creates a texture to the night that feels less formal and more like a community project.
