This is a parallel kitchen layout I designed for maximum efficiency. The glossy, handleless cabinets in a dual-tone finish give it a sleek, modern look, while the under-cabinet lighting provides excellent task lighting.

A kitchen shouldn’t just look good in photos; it needs to survive the daily grind. That is why I strictly use 100% Boiling Water Proof (BWP) Marine Grade Plywood for carcasses and soft-close hinges from brands like Hettich or Ebco. This prevents swelling and squeaky doors, keeping your storage smooth for years even if your kitchen gets wet.
Planning the Layout
Before we start any fabrication, we plan the kitchen around the 'golden triangle'—the path between your stove, sink, and fridge. Whether you need a parallel layout to maximize narrow spaces or an L-shaped design for an open-concept flat, we build for movement. I use 3D models to ensure every inch of counter space is calculated before we cut a single sheet of ply.
Why Material Selection Matters
In Mumbai’s climate, the wrong material will fail within a year. I use Marine Grade BWP (Boiling Water Proof) plywood for all wet areas near the sink and cooking zone. It holds screws tight and resists dampness. For finishes, you get a choice between high-gloss acrylic, which gives a premium reflective look, or durable laminate, which is more scratch-resistant and budget-friendly.
Smart Storage Essentials
Cabinets are useless if you can't reach your pots. We install heavy-duty Tandem Box systems for drawers so they glide even when loaded with heavy cookware. We also integrate bottle pull-outs, cutlery trays, and corner carousels to ensure no 'dead space' is wasted. If you have an appliance like a microwave or toaster that you want to hide, we can design rolling shutter units to keep your countertop clean and clutter-free.
