Custom Mandir and Pooja Room Designs
We build pooja spaces that blend into your home without losing their sacred, peaceful vibe.
This is a custom-designed mandir with foldable doors. When open, it reveals a serene space with a backlit panel featuring a peacock feather motif, multi-level platforms for idols, and integrated drawers for storage.
When closed, the mandir doors blend beautifully with the living room decor. The wooden finish with frosted glass panels gives it a modern look, concealing the sacred space elegantly.
For smaller spaces, a compact pooja unit like this is a great solution. It features a backlit jaali panel and drawers for storage, creating a dedicated spiritual corner without taking up much room.
About Sacred Pooja Spaces
When we design a pooja space, the biggest challenge is balance. You want it to be a dedicated, sacred area, but often it needs to sit inside your main living room without clashing with the decor. We solve this by using shutter doors that blend perfectly with your wall paneling. When you close them, it looks like a sleek storage unit, and when open, it reveals a serene, backlit space for your daily prayers.
Our approach to mandir design starts with two non-negotiable factors: Vastu compliance and smart functionality. If you have a specific direction for the idol or the entrance, we plan the layout around those rules from day one. We use BWP (Boiling Water Proof) marine-grade plywood for these units because pooja areas often involve water, oil, and incense, which can damage standard wood over time.
For the aesthetic, we move away from standard readymade designs. We integrate CNC cutwork or backlit panels with themes like peacock feathers or geometric patterns, which act as a focal point. If space is tight, we do not build out; we build in. We create compact units that utilize vertical space, incorporating drawers for storing pooja essentials like diya oil, matchboxes, and incense sticks so your main surface stays clutter-free. Whether you are in Dombivali or elsewhere in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, we work to ensure the finish matches your existing living room laminates. We treat these corners with the same level of attention as our premium kitchens because we know it is the heart of your home.
