The Art of Handmade Soap Making
Step inside my Delhi studio to watch how we pour, swirl, and stamp our soaps in small, slow-crafted batches.
Watch this Herbal Revival soap come to life. I use natural colorants like madder root, turmeric, and annatto seed to create the vibrant layers, each packed with plant-powered benefits.
Here, I'm unmolding my Lavender, Rosemary & Peppermint bar. You can see the soap shavings I added to the base for a rustic, soil-like feel and the little dolphin embed that makes this bar so special.
From pouring and molding to stamping, this is the making of my Minty Breeze soap. It's a refreshing blend of peppermint and spearmint essential oils, handcrafted with love.
This video captures the satisfying process of unmolding and cutting my Sweet Orange & Patchouli bar. I use a horizon line technique to create the sunset-in-motion effect with natural clays.
The simple, satisfying sound of soap cutting. This is a new essential oil blend I was working on, and the ASMR is just too good not to share.
A quick look at my workspace as I cut a fresh loaf of Aqua soap. You can see the other bars curing in the background, all part of the slow and careful process.
Stamping away to glory. This is one of the final, satisfying steps before the soaps are ready to be packaged. Each stamp is done by hand.
Stocking up on our Flower Market soap for the festive season. This video shows the pouring and swirling of the batter, creating the beautiful marble effect.
Sometimes soap has a mind of its own. This batch of Lavender Patchouli started out blue and turned into a soft purple. The marble swirl wasn't what I planned, but the result is still beautiful.

About The Art of Soap Making
You might notice slight variations in the swirls or colors in my bars. Because I use natural clays and pour in small batches, no two bars are identical, but that is the charm of the cold process. Every piece is a unique creation that is as gentle on your skin as it is on the planet.
When you choose a cold process soap, you are getting something entirely different from mass-produced bars. I make these in small batches, which allows me to control exactly what goes into the mixture. I use a blend of natural oils and butters for moisture, and incorporate natural colorants like madder root, turmeric, and kaolin clay to create textures that look as beautiful as they feel.
My process is simple but deliberate. It starts with mixing the lye and oils until they reach a trace, followed by the pouring stage where I create those marbled effects you see in the gallery. Whether I am using a horizon line technique to mimic a sunset or embedding little soap shavings for a rustic, soil-like feel, every step happens right here in my studio. After pouring, the soaps need to cure for several weeks, which is when the excess water evaporates and the bar hardens into a long-lasting, quality product.
Sustainability is not just a label here. I reuse shipping boxes whenever possible, so your package might arrive in something 'pre-loved.' I am also committed to keeping things plastic-free. Whether you are looking for a simple bar for your daily shower or a custom set for a wedding or corporate gift, you can be sure that what you receive is free from parabens, phthalates, and SLS.
If you have a specific event coming up, I love helping with custom labels and scents that tell your story. Just reach out, and we can discuss creating something that fits your needs perfectly.
