When I stitch for kids, I keep two things in mind: comfort and growth. Every party gown or lehenga I make features a soft, breathable cotton or 'mulmul' lining to ensure no scratching or irritation, and I always add 1.5 to 2 inches of inner margin so the outfit lasts through those inevitable growth spurts.
I believe clothing for children shouldn't just look good; it needs to be practical enough for them to run, play, and twirl without fuss. Whether it's a themed birthday ball gown with 4 to 6 layers of tulle for that perfect flare or a traditional Gota Patti lehenga for festivals, the construction is always child-friendly.
