Bringing me in as a chief guest goes beyond just a speech. Whether I am at a school sports day or a competitive league, I spend time interacting with teams, explaining the nuances of the game, and offering honest, direct feedback to players. My goal is to use my experience as a Senior National Player to provide real, actionable inspiration that stays with them long after the event ends.
I believe sports events are where character is built. When organizers invite me to events like the SSO Volleyball Premier League or local inter-school championships, they aren't just getting a chief guest; they are getting someone who understands the daily grind. As a current player at 43 and a SAI NIS certified coach, I see the court differently. I see the technical errors, the mental struggles, and the spark in a young athlete that needs to be nurtured. My presence is not about ceremonial handshakes. I focus on connecting with the players, sharing stories from my own journey, and offering insights on discipline and mental toughness. Having coached for various age groups and refereed high-stakes matches, I speak the language of the players.
