About Narumugai Makeup Academy
I don't believe in just watching demonstrations. Every course at my studio in Gandhigramam is designed for you to hold the brushes and practice until you are truly confident, because that is the only way to learn how to handle real skin and create makeup that looks perfect on camera.
Our Approach to Learning
When I started teaching at my Karur studio, I wanted to strip away the theory-heavy approach and focus on what actually works for a working makeup artist. You will work on real skin, learn how to prep for different textures, and understand how to manage your own studio business.
Course Structure

Level 1 Foundation (7 Days): This is for those starting from scratch. We cover color theory, skin anatomy, and the basics of party makeup. It is your introduction to hygiene, product selection, and making makeup last.

Level 2 Advanced Bridal Diploma (15 Days): This is our career program. You will master high-demand skills like HD foundation application, airbrush techniques, and complex eye makeup like cut creases. We also cover professional hairstyling, including traditional braids and modern updos. Crucially, this course includes a professional portfolio shoot where you build the images you need to show clients.

Creative SFX & Editorial Workshop (3 Days): A short, intense workshop for artists who want to expand into high fashion, short films, or creative projects. We cover prosthetics, sculpting wax, and dramatic lighting.
