I take the time to prep your skin properly before even picking up a brush, ensuring your makeup sits perfectly, even under heavy temple jewellery or bright stage lights.
South Indian bridal looks require a balance between traditional elements and modern durability. My process begins with deep skin prep, often using hydrating under-eye masks to soothe and refresh your skin before we start. This ensures that when we apply HD or airbrush foundations, the base stays smooth and sweat-proof, regardless of the humidity or the length of your Muhurtham ceremony.
I treat every bride as an individual. I have worked with diverse skin tones and textures, including brides who felt nervous about their first-time makeup experience. My goal is to make you feel like the best version of yourself, not a different person. For traditional Muhurthams, I carefully balance bold eyes and bright lip colors with your silk saree to ensure nothing looks washed out. For receptions, we can pivot to more contemporary, glamorous styles, complete with modern up-dos or romantic, open-hair waves.
Since I run a studio in Karur, I also help coordinate the final details that pull the look together. This includes placing your traditional jadai (braid) flowers, securing temple jewellery so it stays comfortable for hours, and professional nail art.
