About Dance Performances
Dance as My Language
For me, dance is where I find my sanity and my story. I move between Bharatanatyam and Flamenco, letting each style say things words can’t. Sometimes it’s pure joy, sometimes it’s deep emotion - but always, it’s about sharing what’s real on stage.
My Stage Journey
I mostly perform Bharatanatyam solo pieces, from classic Alaripu to dramatic roles like the nayika longing for her love. With Flamenco, I get to bring a whole different fire, especially when I’m dancing with my group. My work often happens with Jyotsna Shourie Dance Company and Keelaka Dance Company, where group energy lifts everything up.
Dance-Theatre Productions
I love being part of bigger stories, like "UNMASKED: When Ravana Walked the Earth" - combining Bharatanatyam, contemporary moves, and theatre to give old epics a fresh spin. In "SAKHI," I step into Draupadi’s shoes, exploring friendship and strength through dance-theatre storytelling. These shows have taken me from Mumbai’s Royal Opera House to stages in Hong Kong.
Events and Collaborations
Whether it’s a fundraiser, cultural festival, or a quirky brand event, I bring my own flavor. Every show is a team effort - from my guru Jyotsna Shourie’s guidance to working with musicians and designers. When my ghungroos echo, it’s all of us making magic.

My Story
We’re Grey Sorbet, juggling between dance and design, right here in Delhi. My world swings from Bharatanatyam performances with Jyotsna Shourie’s company—imagine ‘UNMASKED’, ‘SAKHI’, all that stage energy—to crafting spaces that feel alive. That handcrafted lamp in India Today Home? Yup, ours. Whether we’re teaching dance, sketching out a living room, or chasing sunsets with friends, it’s all about making moments memorable. Dance and design, dono milke (both together), that’s our thing.
