UNMASKED: A Dance-Theatre Epic
This cluster showcases my work in "UNMASKED: When Ravana Walked the Earth," a large scale production by the Jyotsna Shourie Dance Company. We blend Bharatanatyam, contemporary dance, and theatre to offer a fresh perspective on the Ramayana, exploring the complexities of its characters beyond traditional notions of good and evil.
SAKHI: A Tale of Two Heroines
"SAKHI" is a dance-theatre piece that imagines a friendship between two iconic women from Hindu mythology, Sita and Draupadi. Performed with the Keelaka Dance Company and Jyotsna Shourie Dance Society, this production explores themes of strength, resilience, and solidarity through expressive storytelling.
