Solid color gel isn't just about the pigment; it's about the prep. I use a dry manicure technique—no water soaking—to clean the cuticles thoroughly before base coat application. This is the secret to getting that seamless, lift-free shine that lasts up to three weeks without peeling at the edges.
When you choose a solid color, there is nowhere for imperfections to hide. That is why I am so particular about the prep work.

Whether you are going for a sharp cobalt blue, a moody chocolate, or a classic fire-engine red, the application process at my spa follows a strict protocol:
- Dry Manicure Prep: We don't soak your hands. Water expands the nail plate, which causes gel to lift prematurely. By using e-files for dry cuticle prep, we ensure the nail is clean and primed for maximum adhesion.
- Skin-Tone Matching: Not every red or pink suits every skin tone. During your consultation, we hold up the NSG shade cards against your skin to find the undertones that actually make your hands look brighter and healthier.
- The Foundation: We use a high-quality base coat that protects your natural nail. Even with a solid color, the integrity of your natural nail underneath is my priority.
