I use a reinforced soft-gel foundation that acts as a smooth canvas, ensuring the metallic layer stays chip-free and ultra-glossy for weeks. Whether you are after that viral glazed-doughnut look or a custom metallic swirl, the key is the prep work before the final shine.
Chrome and magnetic effects are where technical skill meets pure creativity. I do not just paint nails; I layer textures to create depth. For magnetic cat-eye designs, it is all about manipulating the metallic particles while the gel is wet to get that shifting, 3D light pattern. It takes a steady hand and specific magnetic tools to get that look perfect every time.
If you prefer the clean, mirror-like finish of chrome, I use high-grade powders that bond directly to the gel.
