Live Group Caricatures That Bring Everyone Together
There is something special about seeing a group of friends or family laughing as I sketch them together. My live group portraits capture those shared memories, turning your celebration into a piece of art everyone gets to take home.

About Group & Family Portraits
When I sketch groups, the energy at the booth changes completely. It is not just about drawing individual faces, but about capturing the bond between friends or family members. For these larger sketches, I often switch to A3 cardstock so everyone gets a clear, detailed look without the paper feeling crowded, ensuring everyone gets a high-quality keepsake of the moment.
I started doing this because I love the reaction people have when they see their likeness on paper. When it comes to group and family portraits, that reaction is multiplied. Whether it is a group of cousins at a wedding or best friends at a flea market, the laughter that happens while I draw is the best part of my day.
Why group portraits work for events
Most party favors get forgotten after the event ends, but a hand-drawn caricature stays on the fridge or the office desk for years. It is a souvenir that actually holds meaning. Because I use high-quality marker sketches or vibrant watercolors, these pieces are durable and look great framed.
How the setup works
For a group of 3 or 4 people, I usually need about 10 to 15 minutes to get the expressions and the vibe right. If you have a larger group, I can sketch them in parts or combine everyone into one big, funny scene. My goal is to make sure every single person in the frame looks happy and feels included in the fun. I bring my own easel, lights, and materials, so you don't have to worry about a thing. I just need a small corner, a couple of chairs, and some good energy from your guests.
