Leadership is not a position of power, but a mandate to serve. I am deeply humbled by the trust you have placed in me and am ready to begin the work we discussed.

"Main agar kuch hoon toh woh aapke kaaran hoon, aapke liye hoon." I am what I am because of you, and for you. In this video, I express my heartfelt gratitude for your support and acknowledge the immense responsibility of this role. The hard work starts now, and I need your continued support.

A graphic expressing my sincere thanks for your unwavering support. This victory belongs to all of us, and your trust means everything. Together, we will continue to strive for a stronger, united bar.

A campaign poster with a clear message: Your Voice Matters. This is a call to action, encouraging every member to vote, support our profession, and stand with me to make their voice heard in the bar association.

About this collection

The campaign is now behind us, but the actual work of building a more responsive Bar Association begins today. I am immediately prioritizing the promised infrastructure upgrades, specifically the renovations for expanded bar rooms and the installation of stable Wi-Fi zones we discussed during my visits to the chambers. If you have specific feedback on how we can improve these daily facilities, please reach out to my office directly.

Being a first-generation lawyer, I remember the struggle of finding a seat, securing a reliable workspace, and navigating the court complex without connections. That is why my focus as your President remains simple: solve the problems that make the daily life of a lawyer difficult.

Prioritizing Daily Needs

We cannot speak of high-level legal reform while our members lack basic amenities. My immediate agenda involves:

  • Infrastructure Upgrades: Continuing the work on modernizing bar rooms to ensure there is adequate space for both senior and junior advocates.
  • Essential Connectivity: Fixing the persistent Wi-Fi dead zones that hinder research and filing.
  • Inclusive Facilities: Expanding the availability of on-site services like chemist shops and crèche facilities, which are essential for members balancing practice with personal responsibilities.

Mentorship & Community

I have always maintained that the wall between juniors and seniors must come down. A strong bar is built on the free exchange of knowledge. Through our monthly lecture series and the upcoming Lawyers' Academy, we will facilitate practical skill development in areas like digital evidence and climate law. This is about ensuring that every colleague, regardless of their background, feels supported.

My Commitment

Main sabse pehle vakeel hoon (I am a lawyer first). Whether it is representing a client in a complex criminal matter or advocating for better working conditions for our 40,000 members, the approach remains the same: fearless, dignified, and rooted in the truth. We will continue to engage with judicial authorities to ensure our concerns are heard and, more importantly, addressed. Let us build a bar that stands for integrity and service.

I started as a first-generation lawyer with no connections, just a drive to work hard. Today, I lead with the belief that our association must function as a true community, not an ivory tower. Whether you are a junior finding your footing or a senior colleague, my chambers are always open for a conversation.
