About this collection

When you see our players lifting trophies after a tournament, it is not just about the win. It is the result of long rallies on our clay courts, disciplined fitness sessions, and the pressure of competing in real match formats. Every certificate or trophy you see here was earned through consistency and the support of our tennis community right here in Seegehalli.

Tennis is a game of patience, and at Murugan Academy of Tennis (MAT), we believe that real growth happens when players are tested in competition. We host a variety of tournaments throughout the year, from official AITA ranking events to our own MAT Open Series and themed trophies like the Independence Day Cup and the Kannada Rajyotsava Championship.

What sets our tournaments apart is the environment. Matches are played on six well-maintained clay courts, which are essential for developing long rallies and better ball control. Whether you are a junior player looking to gain your first competitive experience in the U-10 or U-16 categories, or a senior player competing in our veterans leagues, we provide the platform to test your skills.

We keep the atmosphere competitive yet inclusive. For outstation players, we provide dormitory-style accommodation, and for the families watching, we offer access to our self-service kitchen. We treat every event as a learning milestone. When a student wins, we celebrate it, but we also analyze the match to see where they can improve. If you are looking to take your game to the next level or want to see how our academy prepares players for national tournaments, come visit us in Seegehalli. We are always running leagues and events that offer a true taste of competitive tennis.

I am Murugan, and I started this academy because I wanted players to experience the real thrill of a tennis tournament. My brother Raju and I are on the courts every day, coaching, cheering, and making sure every student feels like part of our tennis family. We do not just teach the game; we live it with you.
