Our Academy's Journey: Building Tennis in Seegehalli

When I started with just two clay courts in 2013, I wanted a place where tennis felt like home. Today, we have five well-maintained courts here in Seegehalli, but the real growth isn't just in the surface area—it is in the family that plays here every morning and evening.

From Mud to Courts

My journey in tennis began long before this academy. After playing nationally and internationally, I wanted to pass on the discipline and the heart of the sport. In 2013, Seegehalli was just a quiet spot with an empty plot. It took sweat, dedication, and a lot of grit to transform that land into the facility you see today.

The MAT Philosophy

'Learn, Develop, Succeed' is not just a slogan on our wall. It is the framework we use to coach every student. Whether you are a beginner picking up a racquet for the first time or a competitive player aiming for an AITA ranking, the approach remains the same. We focus on:

• Mental Toughness: Coaching that treats defeats as learning moments.

A Home for Tennis Families

We built this place to be more than just a training ground. We added amenities like our self-service kitchen so parents can prepare meals during long match days, and floodlights so that evening matches remain accessible. We host birthday celebrations, community events, and tournaments like the Kannada Rajyotsava Trophy because champions are not just born—they are built within a community that supports them.
