About More Than a Team
Success is better when shared. At our academy, we celebrate birthdays, match wins, and personal milestones as a family because cricket is not just about individual performance, it is about team spirit. When a player hits a century or grabs a trophy, the whole group cheers, and these moments are what build the confidence they need for real match pressure.
Building a cricketer requires more than just hours in the nets. It requires an environment where players feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to push their limits. My approach at the Mumbai Cricket Academy, based here in Thane, is to treat every player like a family member.
We do not just focus on technical batting or bowling drills. We focus on the mindset. When we celebrate a birthday on the field or mark the opening of a new training ground, we are teaching the players to value their community. We organize regular match simulations, including local leagues like the MPL and Soldier Cup, where these bonds are tested.
My students learn that if they support their teammates during training, they will rely on them during the match. Whether you are looking for coaching at our Panch Pakhdi facility or our Kopri ground, you will find a culture where hard work is the only shortcut to success.
