Cinematic Automotive Videography in Mumbai
Capturing the raw power, speed, and emotion of bikes and cars with a cinematic eye.
A cinematic tribute to the Benelli sports bike. This video uses epic sunset shots and close-ups of the rider to convey the feeling and emotion of being on the open road.
This reel gives a peek behind the scenes of a Benelli bike shoot, showing the process of getting the perfect shot and contrasting it with the final, polished cinematic result.
About Automotive Videography
Automotive filming is not just about pointing a camera at a moving vehicle. To get that high-octane, low-to-the-ground tracking shot, I use gimbal setups and precise camera movements that make the machine feel like it is flying. When we shoot, it is about matching the vehicle's personality to the location, whether that is a moody sunset at the beach or the city's concrete corners. If you want a film that captures the thrill of the ride rather than just the technical specs, let us talk about the specific story you want to tell.
Great automotive films start long before the engine turns on. My process focuses on planning the visual narrative, where we scout locations in Mumbai that match the vibe of your bike or car.
The Gear and The Grind
For tracking shots, I rely on gimbal-stabilized cameras, often shooting from a moving vehicle to get that immersive 'in the mix' feeling. If we need an establishing shot or a bird's-eye perspective, I bring in my drone for 4K aerials that show the vehicle in its element. I shoot using the Sony A7 IV, which gives me the depth and low-light performance needed for those golden hour sunset sequences.
Post-Production Storytelling
The real magic happens in the edit. I do not just cut clips; I build a soundscape. I layer engine revs, wind noise, and ambient city sounds with music that hits exactly on the beat. My color grading process involves S-Log3 footage, which I push to look moody, high-contrast, and cinematic, ensuring the paint and chrome pop exactly how you want them to.
Why This Matters
Most people just film static shots. I aim for 'Ajun thodasa thamb na'—that moment where the viewer wants to watch the reel one more time. Whether it is for a brand showcase, a personal project, or social media content, my goal is to make your audience feel the speed through the screen.
