My Filmmaking Process: Behind the Scenes
I believe in full transparency. Here is a raw look at the gear, the makeshift studio setups, and the late-night editing sessions that actually bring a video to life.

About this collection
I do not just point and shoot. Before a single frame is captured, I spend time sketching the storyboard on a simple notepad. Whether it is a product shoot or a lifestyle reel, I map out every transition, light angle, and even the beat-sync points to ensure I capture exactly what I need on the first take. It saves hours of frustration during the edit.
How I Create the Magic
Filmmaking is not just about the gear; it is about the grind. Whether I am shooting for a major brand like Realme or capturing Mumbai streets, my process remains the same: planning, shooting, and obsessive editing.
The Setup
I use a Sony A7 IV for that full-frame depth and low-light performance. But you do not always need a massive studio. I often use simple household items, cardboard reflectors, and DIY setups to control light. I share these behind-the-scenes moments because I want you to see that good storytelling is about creativity, not just budget. If the lighting is not right, I build it from scratch with a Godox softbox or an RGB tube.
The Edit
This is where the 'Ajun thodasa thamb na' (please wait a little longer) feeling happens. My workflow involves:
- Beat-Syncing: Cutting clips to the rhythm of the audio so the video hits hard.
- Speed Ramping: Using variable speed to keep the viewer’s eye moving.
- Color Grading: Using S-Log3 and DaVinci Resolve to get that cinematic, film-like aesthetic.
Why Transparency Matters
When you hire me, you are not just getting a final file. You are getting my process. You will see how I scout locations in Mumbai, how I frame a shot, and why I choose specific camera angles. I treat every project as personal, ensuring the final deliverable is not just a video, but a story that makes people stop and watch.
