About Our Story Adventures: Live & Interactive
Our live workshops are never about just sitting still. Whether we are exploring a Panchatantra tale or a nautical adventure, we use music, puppets, and rhythmic movement to make sure every child—from the quietest observer to the most energetic participant—feels like they are physically inside the story.
How Our Story Adventures Work
When we set up a workshop, we aren't just reading from a book. We build a space where stories are lived. Our sessions are split by age group (3-10 years) to ensure the little ones stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed, and the older kids get the challenge they need.
The Visuals & Movement We use Kamishibai, a traditional Japanese paper theater, to provide a visual focal point that draws kids in. We mix this with:
- Music & Rhymes: We incorporate sing-alongs and rhythmic body movements to keep the energy flowing.
- Interactive Narratives: We don't just tell a story, we ask for help. We use call-and-response, puppets, and scavenger hunts to turn the audience into characters.
- Hands-on Crafts: Many of our sessions end with a paper-craft activity where kids create masks, puppets, or props related to the theme, letting them take a piece of the adventure home.
Where To Find Us We operate as a mobile pop-up storytelling service across Bangalore. We collaborate with various studios and community spaces to host these events. Because we move from location to location—from JP Nagar to other neighborhoods—we keep our sessions fresh and accessible to families across the city.
What to Expect Each workshop typically runs for 60 to 90 minutes. We encourage parents to be present for the younger groups, as we find that learning together is the best way to spark curiosity.
