About this collection
When we plan an outdoor session in a Gurgaon park, we rely entirely on the golden hour. I schedule these during sunrise or sunset to ensure the light is soft and warm. Since we are working outdoors, I bring rustic props like teepees and wooden crates to create a comfortable, cozy space that keeps your baby happy and engaged throughout the shoot.
Choosing an outdoor setting for a first birthday brings a different energy compared to a studio environment. The space allows for natural movement, which often leads to more candid expressions and genuine smiles from your little one. We generally stick to rustic themes for these sessions, utilizing teepees, vintage crates, and soft blankets that complement the natural surroundings of a garden or park.
Practical planning is essential for these shoots. Because we depend on the sun, timing is everything. We aim for the golden hour, which provides the most flattering light for portraits. It is important to note that these sessions focus on portraits and playful interaction rather than the splash-and-bath routines I do in the studio. You should also consider that we will be in a public or semi-public space, so we coordinate on the best parks in the Delhi NCR region that offer privacy and permit access.
Regarding outfits, I provide rustic-style costumes that fit the theme, but I encourage families to coordinate their own clothing for the group photos. These sessions are perfect if you want to move away from the formal backdrop look and prefer memories that feel light, airy, and full of life.

I am Ritika, and I love being the person who freezes these chaotic, happy moments for you. Being a mom myself, I understand that babies need time to settle in, so I make sure our session feels more like playtime than a formal photoshoot.
