About this collection
While the cake smash is for getting messy, the splash session is where we get the most genuine, relaxed smiles. I use a vintage clawfoot tub with warm water and bubbles, ensuring your baby stays comfortable and happy throughout. It is essentially a stress-free cleanup that turns into my favorite part of the shoot, allowing me to capture those little hands and feet playing in the water.
Whether you choose my DLF Phase 5 studio or an outdoor garden location in Gurgaon, the splash session is the grand finale of our milestone shoots. After the chaos of the cake smash, babies often find the warm water soothing. It is the perfect transition from excitement to calm, allowing me to capture those sweet, curious expressions as they explore the bubbles.
For my indoor studio sessions, I use a custom vintage clawfoot tub that looks adorable in photos. I keep the water temperature warm and the lighting soft so your little one feels safe and cozy. If we are shooting outdoors, I love incorporating natural elements like citrus slices or fresh flower petals in the water, which look stunning against the greenery of a Gurgaon park during golden hour.
Parents often worry about the mess, but that is the best part of the experience. You do not have to stress about cleaning up sticky frosting or cake crumbs because the splash session handles that for you. It is a clean, safe, and incredibly cute way to wrap up the day. Plus, you get a completely different set of portraits from this part of the session, often with more candid, interactive shots than the posed ones at the start.
