About Outdoor & Lifestyle Campaigns
When we shoot on location, I do not just pick a spot, I look for the narrative. For the street-style set you see here, we spent time in Colaba to ensure the urban backdrop matched the brand identity. My team and I handle the technical logistics, from managing street flow to precise light sculpting, so you can focus entirely on the shoot's creative direction.
Our Approach to Location Shoots
Photography on location is about balancing artistic intent with environmental constraints. Whether we are shooting a high-fashion campaign on the busy streets of Ballard Estate or capturing a soft lifestyle mood in a garden setting, the environment dictates the visual story.
My process for outdoor work includes:
- Site Planning: I scout locations to understand the natural light patterns throughout the day, ensuring we capture the best textures and colors without relying solely on artificial sources.
- Lighting Control: For outdoor shoots, I carry industrial-grade lighting setups. This allows me to balance natural daylight with flash, ensuring the model and the product remain crisp even in challenging, high-contrast urban settings.
- Team Collaboration: A successful lifestyle campaign relies on the synergy between the stylist, the makeup artist, and the subject. I coordinate these moving parts on-set to maintain a consistent aesthetic across all deliverables, whether that is 15 hero shots or a larger series.
Delivering High-Impact Visuals
My work for brands like Pero and Studio Moonray demonstrates how context builds desire. A clothing line needs to feel lived-in and approachable, which is why I favor candid-style moments where the model interacts with the environment.
For technical requirements, I utilize high-resolution full-frame setups that maintain detail even when the images are blown up for social media or digital billboards. By keeping the workflow tethered on-set, we ensure immediate color grading and composition reviews, eliminating guesswork before we wrap the day.
