Introduction to Horsemanship & Trial Ride
Experience Overview
- Duration: 30 to 45 minutes total session time.

Riding Component
- Mounted Session: Beginner-friendly ride at a walk on a lead line controlled by an instructor.

- Photos: Dedicated time for taking photos with the horse.

- Format: One-on-one or small group coaching (max 3 riders) based on the "9-Step Beginner Course".
- Skills: Mounting safety, posture correction, steering control, and gait progression (Walk, Trot, Canter).
- Drills: Emergency dismount procedures and balance exercises.
Groundwork & Care
- Tacking Up: Learning to saddle and bridle the horse.
- Grooming: Pre-ride and post-ride brushing to establish a bond.
- Leading: Rope handling techniques focusing on assertive body language.
Safety & Equipment
- Gear: Usage of saddles, bridles, mandatory helmets, and protective body vests.
- Staff: Yard staff assistance for mounting.
Therapeutic Riding & Sensory Integration

- Staffing: High support ratio involving a Lead Instructor, Horse Handler, and Side Walkers.

Kids, adults, and folks with special needs all fit in here. Our space is safe for children who want to learn more than just riding - they pick up things like empathy and confidence. Adults come to us to chill out, find their feet, or just try something new. Our therapy sessions, especially for special needs children, are fully tailored - I use gentle, intuitive horses and set goals together with you.

My Story
People always ask how this started. No big plan, just me and the horses. Blaze, my first real teacher, showed me you can’t rush trust—especially with a big horse. You gotta show up, be patient, listen without words. Horses, they don’t fake it. They show you your own self, good and bad. That’s why I started Miracle Equine Center, to let others feel that honest connection and maybe find something new in themselves too.
