About this collection
In our classes, we focus heavily on the lead and follow connection. It is not just about memorizing patterns. We teach you how to feel the music, read your partner's frame, and trust the signals so you can actually dance socially, whether that is at a local pub or a festival.
Bachata is a journey, and we make sure you have the tools to enjoy every step of it. We start with the fundamentals because having a strong base is what makes the rest of your dancing look effortless. In our Bachata classes, we break down the timing and the hip movement, ensuring you are comfortable with the rhythm before we add complex partner work.
Traditional vs. Fusion
We teach Dominican-style Bachata for its playful, footwork-heavy nature, which is perfect for understanding the roots of the dance. Then we move into Fusion and Sensual styles, where we play with fluidity, isolations, and body movement. This helps you build a well-rounded vocabulary on the dance floor.
Lead & Follow Dynamics
One common mistake is overthinking the patterns. We encourage students to focus on the connection. If the lead is clear, the follower feels confident, and the dance becomes a conversation rather than a chore. We help you develop the muscle memory to react to your partner rather than just counting the steps.
Social Dancing Prep
The goal is to get you social-ready. We practice in a rotational setup so you get used to dancing with different partners, mimicking real-world social dance floor environments in Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi. No partner? No problem. We rotate throughout the session, which helps everyone improve faster and meet new people in the community.
