Traditional Cultural Maternity Shoots in Navi Mumbai
You do not have to choose between a classic cultural look and a professional maternity shoot. I specialise in styling traditional sarees to celebrate your bump, creating timeless portraits that honor your roots.

About Cultural Elegance
The biggest challenge with wearing a saree for a maternity shoot is how it drapes to flatter your changing body. I handle the entire draping process myself, pinning and adjusting the pleats so the silhouette accentuates your bump perfectly, whether you want a regal royal look or something more understated.
Incorporating a traditional saree into your maternity session is about more than just clothing; it is about preserving a part of your heritage during a major life milestone. In my Kopar Khairane studio, I focus on the technical side of making ethnic wear look right on camera. A standard store-bought drape often hides the bump or looks bulky, so I use professional pinning techniques to ensure the silk flows in a way that highlights your pregnancy.
Posing for Saree Shoots
Posing in a saree requires specific angles to ensure the fabric catches the light correctly. Whether you are sitting in a traditional floor pose or standing for a full-length shot, I guide your movements to ensure the drape remains elegant. We avoid overly complex poses that might pull the fabric awkwardly, keeping the focus on your comfort and the beauty of the drape.
Styling Details
We plan the setup to match your outfit's specific color and texture. If your partner is joining for a couple's session, I recommend picking outfits that complement the gold tones or rich colors of your saree rather than clashing. If you have a specific heirloom silk saree you want to wear, I am happy to style the session around it. We look at color coordination to ensure your final images are cohesive, high-quality, and frame-worthy.
