About Traditional & Ethnic Portraits
Getting the drape right is half the work in a traditional shoot, and that’s why we handle the styling for you. Whether you choose a classic Kanjeevaram or a Paithani, we assist with the pleats and accessory placement so you can focus entirely on posing without worrying about the saree coming undone.
Your Roots, Captured
There is something incredibly powerful about capturing the pregnancy journey through the lens of tradition. Whether it is a Godh Bharai (baby shower) theme or simply a desire to have memories that feel rooted in your culture, we are here to make it happen. We bring the studio to your home or you can join us at our Airoli space, where we manage the lighting and setup.
Why Tradition Needs Patience
Unlike quick candid shots, ethnic maternity photography is all about the details—the richness of the silk, the shimmer of the jewelry, and the precision of the pose. We understand that being pregnant can be tiring, so we keep the process mast easy hai (super chill and easy). We handle the heavy lifting, quite literally, by setting up the backdrop and arranging props like brass diyas, flowers, and traditional thalis.
What We Provide
When you book an ethnic session with us, you are not just getting a photographer; you are getting a team that helps with the practicalities:
- Styling Assistance: We help drape your saree perfectly and place your jewelry, ensuring it looks elegant for every frame.
- Cultural Props: From fresh marigolds to traditional lamps, we bring props that add authenticity to your portraits.
- Couple Portraits: Many of our traditional sets are designed to include your partner, allowing you to capture that shared anticipation together.
We love creating these 'royal' looking portraits that feel like timeless paintings. If you have a specific family heirloom or a particular cultural style in mind, let us know—we love incorporating personal touches that make the shoot uniquely yours.
