Your wedding story deserves a special place on your hands. From hidden names and initials to symbols close to your heart, I weave your unique journey into every intricate design.

This competition piece is the perfect example of a henna story. It includes bride and groom portraits, elephants for good luck, and a full baraat (wedding procession) theme.

Personalization can be subtle and elegant. Here, I've hidden beautiful jhumka (earring) motifs within a traditional foot design, adding a special touch just for the bride.

Hiding the groom's name is a fun tradition. In this design, the name 'Khalil' is written in a heart shape on the palm, surrounded by intricate patterns.

Another example of personalization, this time with the name 'Junaid' placed inside a central circle on the palm. It becomes the heart of the entire mehendi design.

For my bestie's engagement, I included their initials 'KK' and a symbol of interlocking rings. This video shows how these personal elements are integrated into a full bridal design.

This bride wanted to incorporate her existing tattoo into the mehendi. I designed the henna to flow around the portrait tattoo, making it a unique and integrated part of her bridal look.

This video shows the application and final look of a heart-themed design. It's a popular choice for engagements and for brides who want a romantic feel.

A beautiful stain shot that also shows the groom's name, 'Khalil', clearly visible on the bride's palm. This is the kind of meaningful detail I love to create.

This design features several custom elements, including a diya (lamp) and a peacock, which hold special meaning for the bride. We can incorporate any symbol that tells your story.

A beautiful engagement mehendi where the groom's name is subtly placed on the back of the hand. It's a lovely way to carry a piece of your partner with you.

About Your Story in Henna

Personalization isn't just about adding a name to your palm. I take the time to chat with you beforehand about the symbols or story you want to capture, whether it's a sketch of your engagement ring, a nod to your first meeting, or simply your partner's name hidden in a mandala. It adds that layer of 'us' to your bridal henna that you will look back on for years.

When I sit down to design your bridal mehendi, I see it as a blank canvas waiting for your story. My approach to personalized henna is all about finding those small, meaningful details that make the design truly yours.

How We Make It Personal

  • Hidden Names & Initials: This is a classic for a reason. I can incorporate your partner's name or your initials seamlessly into the center of the palm or tucked into the wrist area, so it's a fun game for the groom to find later.
  • Symbolic Art: If you have a specific icon or memory, we can translate it into henna. I have drawn everything from jhumkas and diyas to subtle silhouettes and sketches of engagement rings. If it holds meaning for you, I can find a way to make it fit.
  • Thematic Integration: For brides who have a specific theme, like a baraat procession or a portrait, I use dense traditional patterns to frame the custom elements. This ensures that even the most unique personal drawings flow naturally with the rest of the intricate bridal design.

My Process

Before we start, I love to have a quick chat. You can share your ideas, references, or just the feelings you want to convey. Because I use 100% organic henna, I need to make sure the design density matches your preference for stain intensity. We will discuss placement, size, and how to balance the personalized elements with the heavier traditional motifs. Whether you want something subtle on the back of your hand or a full story across your palms and forearms, I am here to make it happen, In Sha Allah.
