About Your Story in Henna (Custom Designs)
I don't just trace patterns; I sketch your personal milestones directly into the design. Whether you want your pet, a specific cityscape, or your initials, we plan the placement during our consultation to ensure these key elements land exactly where you want them on your hands for maximum visibility.
When we plan a custom mehendi design, I start by looking at the space available on your hands and feet. If you have a full bridal design in mind, we have plenty of room for detailed portraits of you and your partner, or even specific elements like the wedding venue skyline or your favorite flowers. For semi-bridal or engagement looks, I prefer focusing on geometric shapes like hexagons or wreaths to elegantly frame your initials or wedding date.
Because I create my own henna paste using natural ingredients, I am very careful about how these custom symbols blend into the overall design. My goal is to ensure the portraits or names don't look like an afterthought. They are woven into the floral vines and traditional motifs so the design feels cohesive rather than cluttered.
Usually, we discuss these ideas before the application date. You share the photos or symbols you want to include, and I map out how they fit into the composition. This requires a bit more coordination than a standard pattern, but the result is a design that belongs only to you. Remember, the complexity of a portrait or specific symbol adds to the application time, so we factor this into our schedule to make sure you are comfortable throughout the process.
