It is often the little details—the floral jewellery, the styling, and the final henna look—that bring your entire bridal aesthetic together.

A quick compilation of some of my favourite designs. It's a blessing to be a henna artist, Alhamdulillah.

Art is the journey of a free soul. A small collection of moments and designs that I've loved creating.

The mehendi looks even more beautiful when paired with floral jewellery for the haldi or mehendi ceremony.

Another look at how beautifully the henna pairs with colourful floral jewellery. It’s all part of the celebration.

About Finishing Touches

When your mehendi is paired with the right floral jewellery, the entire look transforms. I often see brides hesitate about the weight or fit of these accessories, but finding pieces that complement your henna patterns, rather than hiding them, is key to a polished look for your Haldi or Mehendi ceremony.

These finishing touches are what bridge the gap between a simple ritual and a complete celebration. When I work with a bride, we consider how the floral accessories will sit against the henna patterns. If you have chosen intricate, full-coverage bridal henna, lighter, delicate floral jewellery works best to ensure the artwork remains visible. For simpler, minimalist designs, you can play with bolder floral pieces to create a stronger statement. Many of my brides in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai ask how to maintain that dark, deep maroon stain while wearing these accessories during the ceremony. My advice is always to plan your henna application at least 48 hours before your main event. This gives the natural henna time to oxidise fully, ensuring you have that rich colour before you start wearing bangles or floral hand-pieces. It is about patience and preparation, so when the day arrives, you can simply enjoy the festivities without worrying about your hands.
