About this collection
Getting that perfect bridal look is all about timing and the flow of the design. I ensure the patterns on your feet complement the intricacy on your arms without overcrowding the design. Whether we choose heavy jaali work or classic floral motifs, I make sure the transition from your elbow to your palms is seamless so the henna looks balanced and elegant in your wedding photos.
How I Approach Bridal Henna
When I design for a bride, I look at the whole picture. It isn't just about covering skin; it is about rhythm. If we go for a heavy, zero-gap traditional style on the hands, I mirror that density on the feet to keep the look unified. If you prefer a more modern, minimal aesthetic, I make sure the negative space on your hands matches the patterns on your feet.
My Process
- Consultation: We discuss the outfits first. The mehendi needs to look good with your bridal lehenga or saree, so I often look at sleeve lengths to decide where the design should stop on your arm.
- Application: I use a 100% organic, chemical-free henna paste. It is safe for sensitive skin and provides that rich, deep stain that every bride wants for her big day.
- Detailing: Whether it is traditional checks, paisley, or floral jaali, I take my time with every line. I do not rush. My goal is to ensure the design on your left hand is a perfect reflection of your right.
Why Cohesion Matters
Many brides worry about whether the feet should match the hands exactly. While they don't have to be identical, they should share the same design language. If your hand design is heavy with peacocks and lotuses, carrying those same motifs onto your feet creates a much more polished look.
I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and can bring my setup to your home or venue. If you have a specific bridal vision, feel free to share it, and we can plan your henna session together.
