About Signature Peacock Motifs
When I draw a peacock, I focus on the contrast between the bold, dark lines of the bird's body and the fine, delicate strokes of the feathers. Whether you want a large, royal peacock sitting right in the center of your palm or a smaller one hidden among jharokha (window) patterns, the key is the flow and symmetry. I make sure the eyes of the peacock are sharp and the surrounding jaali (net) work is clean so the design truly stands out.
Peacock motifs have a timeless quality that works for any celebration, whether it is a grand wedding or a small festive gathering. I often combine these peacocks with other traditional elements like swans, elephants, and lotuses to create a balanced, storytelling look.
My Approach to Peacock Art
- Royal Composition: I love pairing the peacock with architecture-inspired jharokha frames and geometric jaali work. This gives the design a structured, rich look that photographs beautifully.
- Personal Touches: Many of my clients love to hide names or wedding dates within the peacock's plumage. It is a subtle detail that makes the design entirely yours.
- Stain Quality: Because I use fresh, organic henna with essential oils, the dark stain creates a beautiful contrast against the skin, which is essential for detailed peacock work.
I cover the entire Mumbai area for these designs. If you have a specific vision in mind, share it with me. I am always happy to customize the peacock's posture or the surrounding fillers to match your outfit or the occasion. My goal is to ensure the henna looks as vibrant in real life as it does in the photos.

Mehendi is my happy place and my therapy. I love getting lost in the details of a peacock's feather or a delicate swan, and I would love to bring that same joy and artistry to your special day.
