Mandala, Lotus & Jhumka Mehendi Designs
Love designs that are balanced and symmetrical? These signature mandala, lotus, and jhumka motifs are exactly what I enjoy creating most. Whether it is for a quick festive touch or a detailed look, let’s make it pop.
A classic mandala design in the center of the palm, featuring a lotus at its core. The fingers are decorated with matching patterns, creating a very balanced and aesthetically pleasing look.
This is a back-hand mehendi featuring matching mandalas with lotus centers. The lotus wristband completes the design, making it elegant and perfect for any occasion.
This elegant design features a prominent lotus motif on both the front and back of the hands. The stain progression video shows how the design develops into a beautiful, rich color.
This design shows both the front and back of the hands. The palm has a mandala with hanging jhumkas, while the back features a stylish lotus pattern, giving you two beautiful looks in one.
A beautiful back-hand design with hanging jhumka motifs. The V-shape pattern is very flattering on the hands, and the intricate details make it perfect for festive events.
This design is all about the jhumkas! I've created a pattern with hanging bells and a Swastik symbol, combining traditional elements for a unique and auspicious look.
Another one of my favorite jhumka designs. The way they appear to dangle from the cloud-like shapes gives the design a sense of movement and charm.
About Signature Motifs: Mandalas, Lotuses & Jhumkas
When I sketch a mandala or jhumka, I focus heavily on the balance between negative space and the ink. If you want that sharp, almost-printed look, I recommend avoiding heavy lotions for a few hours before I arrive so the henna really bites into your skin for the darkest possible stain.
These designs are all about precision. Whether I am crafting a central mandala for your palm or detailing those delicate jhumkas, I treat every line like it is the most important part of the story. I use my own homemade, organic henna cones. There are no chemical shortcuts here, which is why you get that deep, rich stain that lasts longer and looks clearer.
When you choose a design from this cluster, we play with the flow of your hand. A mandala is perfect for keeping things balanced, while hanging jhumkas add a bit of movement and playfulness. If you are worried about whether these patterns will suit your style, do not be. Whether you want something minimal or more filled in, these motifs are incredibly versatile. I have done these for engagement ceremonies, festive gatherings, and even casual celebrations across Mumbai. The biggest compliment I get is when a client tells me guests thought the design was a print. That is exactly what I aim for every single time.

Hi, I am Bhoomi! Mehendi isn’t just my job, it is my mood booster. I get so lost in creating these tiny jhumkas and perfect mandalas that I genuinely forget to eat. I love drawing patterns that make people do a double-take—my goal is always that 'Wait, did you print this?' reaction.
