Festival Mehendi Designs and Devotional Henna Art
Celebrate your festivals with detailed henna portraits of your favorite deities. Whether it is Teej or Karwachauth, I bring my art to your special celebration.
For festivals, I can create powerful devotional art like this portrait of Lord Rama. It's a way to carry your faith and celebrate with a design that is both beautiful and meaningful. Jai Shri Ram.
Har Har Mahadev. This video shows the creation of a Lord Shiva portrait in henna. It's an honor to draw such powerful figures for my clients during auspicious times.
Ganpati Bappa Morya. This is a portrait of Lord Ganesha I did during my practice sessions. I am always working on my craft to make sure every detail is perfect.
A beautiful, full-hand design perfect for Teej or any festival. This style uses traditional paisley and floral motifs to create a rich and celebratory look.
This Teej special mehendi is a bit lighter, with more open space on the fingers. The focus is on the beautiful floral mandala pattern on the palm and wrist.
This image shows both the front and back of the hands for a Teej celebration. One hand has a dense paisley design while the other features a delicate mandala, showing how we can mix and match styles.
About Festival & Devotional Art
These designs require patience. Unlike standard floral work, drawing deities like Lord Shiva or Ganesha takes precision, so plan for about 60 to 90 minutes per session to ensure every feature is captured properly.
Drawing deities is more than applying henna. It is about capturing expressions and details that resonate with your faith. When I create portraits of Lord Shiva, Ganesha, or Lord Rama, I focus heavily on the symmetry and shading to make the 3D effect pop. This type of work is perfect for Ganesh Chaturthi, Karwachauth, or Teej, where the occasion calls for something beyond standard patterns.
Most standard mehendi takes less time, but devotional art needs focus. I use organic, house-made henna paste to ensure a rich, deep stain, which is essential for these detailed designs. Whether you want a single portrait on the palm or an entire festive narrative, we can customize the coverage to suit your preference.
If you are in Malad East or anywhere across Mumbai, I can come to you. For these specific designs, I recommend booking at least a week in advance. This gives us time to discuss the specific deity or motif you want. I also incorporate traditional Indian floral elements and paisleys around the main portrait to balance the hand. It is not just about the henna; it is about bringing a piece of your devotion to your skin. If you are preparing for a festival and want a design that reflects your spirit, let us talk about what we can create.

I see mehendi as my peace, not just a service. Drawing deities and festival motifs is how I express my faith, and I love bringing that same devotion to your hands during your celebrations.
