I make my own henna paste in small, fresh batches here in Bangalore. Unlike store-bought cones that often contain chemicals to speed up the staining process, my organic henna is 100% natural. The Stain Timeline
Getting that 'stain goal' result takes a little patience. When I apply the henna, it starts as a bright orange-red. After removing the dry paste, the color will look light, but it will continue to darken significantly over the next two days. It reaches its peak richness about 48 hours after application, which is why I recommend booking your mehendi session at least two days before your main event.

- Avoid water: Keep the area dry for at least 6-8 hours after removing the henna.
