About this collection

The secret to a deep, dark mehendi stain isn't just the henna; it’s the aftercare. I always provide a lemon-sugar sealant if needed and guide you on exactly how long to keep the henna on to get the best result. It is not just about the application, it is about making sure your effort shows up perfectly in your photos.

Why Organic Henna Matters

I make my own henna paste in small, fresh batches here in Bangalore. Unlike store-bought cones that often contain chemicals to speed up the staining process, my organic henna is 100% natural. This is safer for your skin and provides a deeper, richer, and more consistent color that develops over 24 to 48 hours.

The Stain Timeline

Getting that 'stain goal' result takes a little patience. When I apply the henna, it starts as a bright orange-red. After removing the dry paste, the color will look light, but it will continue to darken significantly over the next two days. It reaches its peak richness about 48 hours after application, which is why I recommend booking your mehendi session at least two days before your main event.

My Aftercare Tips for Best Color

  • Keep it warm: Heat helps the stain develop. Stay in a warm room and avoid cold water.
  • Avoid water: Keep the area dry for at least 6-8 hours after removing the henna.
  • Sealant: Use the lemon-sugar mix I provide to keep the paste on the skin longer.
  • Natural methods: Avoid using harsh soaps or sanitizers immediately after the henna has been removed.

If you are planning a bridal look, we can do a patch test to see how your skin reacts to my specific henna mix. This ensures you know exactly what to expect before the big day. I also sell these organic cones if you want to practice your own designs at home.
