Hands-On Floral Design Workshops in Bangalore
Step into my Indiranagar studio to move beyond simple decoration. Here, we practice design thinking, where you learn to balance, style, and tell stories with flowers in a space designed for creative expression.
This video captures the "Aha!" moment that happens in every class. I guide students from feeling confused about why their arrangements fall apart to confidently nailing techniques.
A student carefully selects a stem, learning to pair florals with emotions. This is a core part of my teaching, moving beyond simple aesthetics to create powerful, meaningful designs.
A student finds her focus, completely absorbed in her creation. This is what I mean by floral art as mindfulness; it teaches patience, presence, and a deep sense of peace.
The simple, healing act of working with your hands. A student smiles as she puts the finishing touches on her arrangement, showcasing the joy that comes from creating something beautiful.
Two students collaborate on their arrangements, learning from each other. My classes are about design thinking, teaching you not just how to arrange, but how to compose a visual story.

About The Workshop Experience: Hands-On & Fun
You will find no rigid rules here, only the fundamentals of design thinking. Whether you are a beginner picking up shears for the first time or a hobbyist looking to refine your technique, we focus on real mechanics—from stem conditioning to color pairing—so you leave with an arrangement that lasts and the confidence to replicate the process at home.
Floristry is often mistaken for simple arrangement, but at MMDS, we treat it as an exercise in spatial awareness and color theory. Our sessions, held at our Indiranagar studio, are structured to break down the barrier between aesthetic appeal and intentional design.
The Studio Experience
Our workshops are designed for small groups of 4 to 8 students. This ensures that I can provide direct feedback on your technique, whether you are struggling with stem placement or balancing a vase. We move through the process step-by-step: first, we condition the blooms to ensure longevity, then we explore the logic of composition.
Why Choose Our Workshops?
- Technical Foundation: You learn why flowers stay in place, the physics of stem cutting, and how to use floral foam or chicken wire properly.
- Design Thinking: We don't just copy pictures. You learn to choose colors and textures that convey specific moods.
- A Moment of Calm: Many students visit the studio to disconnect from their routine. The act of working with fresh, fragrant stems acts as a grounding practice.
Whether you select a single 3-hour session (₹4500–₹6500) to try something new, or enroll in a 5-module intensive course (₹38000–₹42000) to build a foundation, you will leave with your own completed arrangement and the skills to create more. For those outside Bangalore, our interactive live online classes follow this exact curriculum, guiding you through local sourcing and arrangement techniques.
